7 th Annual Film Series 2004 (Continuing) Celebrating Faith in Action The Vincentian Center for Church and Society and the Office of Community Relations invite you to "Celebrate Faith in Action" as we honor St. Vincent de Paul, the Founder of the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians), the sponsors of St. John's University. Through film, we will explore how faith in action can bring meaning, purpose and achievements far beyond our expectations. A discussion with Rev. Adapted from the nonfiction book of the same name by Sister Helen Prejean, this film examines the issue of capital punishment from a humanitarian perspective.
